As you embark on your adventure, we understand that you may have some questions. To ensure you have the smoothest experience possible, we've put together a list of frequently asked questions (FAQs) to guide you. Let's dive in and discover more about Coins, Gems, XP, and other intriguing aspects of the game!

Game Play

  • Coins are the main currency in the game. They are used for obtaining the different gorgeous design items while you decorate rooms.
    You can earn coins in various ways, by completing events, spinning the wheel, watching ads after completing an event or daily bonus from the store, collecting them as reward from design pass and more.

  • Gems are the premium currency in the game. They can be used to obtain more prestigious items for the rooms.
    You can earn gems by completing chapters, leveling up, 5 star voting rewards, spinning the wheel, completing tasks in designer quest, collecting them as reward from design pass and more.

  • Paint brushes are a unique currency in the game. You can earn paint brushes as voting rewards. Higher star ratings reward more paintbrushes. Paint brushes can be spent decorating Stylebook rooms.

  • XP stands for “Experience Points”. You gain XP by voting on other player designs and for designing your own events. When your XP bar fills up, you level up. Every time you level up you get rewards like Coins and Gems. 

  • Chapters are a design journey that feature unique setttings and locations. Each chapter consists of 3 designs to complete, centered around a single theme or a client. Clients can have special requests, challenging you to create designs according to their wishes. Chapters are always available and a new ones are released twice a week.

  • Live Events are temporary design venues that feature unique locations and cultural styles. They are available for a limited time only and are refreshed regularly. 

  • Every time you submit an event, it becomes available for other players to vote on it. The amount of stars your design gets determines the reward you will receive. If your design gets enough votes you might even get the awesome 5 star reward, which includes a good amount of gems, coins and paint brushes. Every time you vote for other players' designs, you get a small amount of XP.

  • The voting score is calculated based on when a design gets a certain number of votes, and we compare that to how many times the design was shown to voters.  The score is then calculated based on this comparison.

    If the design got more votes, the score moves closer to the highest possible rating. If it got fewer votes, the score moves closer to the lowest possible rating.

    The exact score is somewhere in between, depending on how many players voted for the design.

  • The Stylebook is unique game feature where you decorate special rooms. It is required to use paintbrushes in order to unlock more prop variations. You can unlock new Stylebook rooms by fully decorating a whole room, as well as receiving great rewards for doing that. Unlocked Stylebook rooms will also be showcased as your background in the main menu of the game.

  • Congrats on completing all the currently available Stylebook rooms! Our team is hard at work towards delivering the next exciting room along with new design styles for you to discover, so be sure to check back soon for more content.   • Limited series are a type of a live events that require to complete multiple themes of the same event and offer greater rewards.

  • Venue offers uniquely themed design passes. To progress through a design pass you will need to complete a few different tasks, including gaining XP, submitting your own designs, voting and other. While you reach different milestones, you will be able to obtain incredible and exclusive rewards - such as items that can only be obtained through the design pass. Upon collecting these items, you can use them for decorating your rooms, even after the design pass has ended.

  • The inventory is a virtual storage box in Venue, where the game keeps all of the playuer's collected items - either by leveling up,, collecting them from Design Pass, or obtaining them through purchases. Use those gorgeous items while decorating rooms!

    Currently not all previously collected items can be used in every event, but we will be revisiting this system in the near future.

    To access your inventory at any time, tap on the profile icon on the bottom right corner of the screen.

  • It is not necessary to buy a new design pass every time. You can do so for example if you would like to try the premium experience, which offers more rewards.

Account

  • You can request your account deletion by going to Settings -> Manage -> Delete Account.

    All the requests for deletion get processed on a daily schedule. After you place your request your account and all the associated data will be deleted from our servers within the next 24 hour. After the deletion your account can not be recovered.

  • In order for your account progress to be synced, you first need to make sure you have been logged in through Facebook, Google or Apple. You can do that by heading to the settings section of the game and tap on the ''manage'' button at the account section. Afterwards, you can continue playing on another device just by logging in with the same account.

  • If you would like your account to be reset, please write to us through customer support. We will be the ones to handle this request.  

    Please keep in mind that after this is done, the game progress will be completely reset, including event progress, currency, etc.

  • If you’ve lost access to your account, you can reach out to us via customer support chat and we can help you to recover it. There are a few important steps to follow to start the recovery process:

    • Do you still have access to the device where you last played?

    • Can you recall your player name?

    Please provide this info when you contact customer support and we will do our best to recover your account.

  • To update your profile name, head to the profile icon at the bottom right of the screen.

    Tap on the name field where the pen icon is located and type in your new desired name.

    To change your profile picture, tap on the icon image in the middle to bring a selection of avatars.

  • You can use one of your social sign in accounts (Facebook, Google or Apple) to share your Venue account between devices.

    • On the device with the account that you want to share, go to Settings -> Account/Manage -> Sign in with Facebook/Google or Apple (this will connect your Venue account with your social account)

    • On the device you want to use this account on:

      • If the game is freshly installed on the Login Screen to to Sign In -> Sign in with Facebook/Google/Apple and select the social account you connected to your venue account.

      • If the game is not freshly installed, Go to Settings -> Account/Manage -> Sign in with Facebook/Google or Apple using the account you used on the first device.

    NOTE: This will override the account you already had on the second device. If you don't want to loose that account you can follow this steps, but with another social account on this device as well.

  • Our team is aware of some design events showing up as pink screen.

    We recommend that you fully quit the game and relaunch it in order to continue playing.

    In the meantime, we are actively looking into investigating and fixing the issue and would appreciate if you can share some additional info.

    • Did you see the pink screen after designing and submitting? At what point did you first see it?

    • When you claimed your vote, did you see it as Pink Screen again?

    • When you go to your portfolio in your profile, do you still see it as Pink Screen or you see your design?

    Any of this information would help us greatly to investigate the issue further.

  • Our team is aware of some problematic ads not granting coin rewards or causing freezes in our game.  We are actively looking into the cause - please bear with us just a little longer as we work on resolving this.

    It will be very helpful for us if we can identify the specific ads causing that, thus we will be very grateful if you could provide a screenshot when contacting us through customer support. This will result in quicker resolution of the issue and reporting the faulty ad directly to the provider.

  • Sometimes, the purchases take longer than expected to process. Every time you come back to the game we attempt to process the purchase and grant the reward. Please try to close and open the game a few times and check if the rewards are being applied. If the issue doesn’t resolve itself, please contact us and we will grant you your missing purchase.

Known Issues

  • Our payment processing is handled through Google Play or Apple App Store and we don't handle payments directly. If you would like to request a refund, you can do it dirrectly though

  • You can change the language from the settings menu from the top right corner. Currently the game supports English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, Korean and Japanese.
